Zane David Hattan Obituary (2004 - 2024)

Washburn: Zane David Hattan, 19, of Washburn, lost his life in a single vehicle accident one mile south of Washburn on February 16, 2024, at 1:30 am. Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Washburn. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am, with an hour prior visitation at the memorial home. The Rev. Bob DeBolt will officiate. Burial will follow at Bell Plain Baptist Cemetery in Pattonsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to KARES Foundation. Zane was born November 3, 2004, in Streator, IL to David P. and Angela K. (Krowlek) Hattan. He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Katelyn Keefer of Low Point and Kelsey Hattan of Washburn. Also surviving are two special guys, Zane’s nephews, Kole White, and Weston Guth. Zane is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Shane & Linda Krowlek, of Washburn and paternal grandmother, Patricia Isham of Farmington, IA, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zane was preceded in death by his father, David P. Hattan, his paternal grandfather, Melvin Hattan, uncles Brendon Hattan and Thomas Krowlek. Zane attended Low Point-Washburn High School. He worked at Auto Zone in Washington. Zane enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with family.
