William "Bill" Andrews Obituary (1941

William E. “Bill” Andrews, 83, of El Paso, IL passed away at 11:10 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Normal. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso, Il with Rev. Greg Boylan officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be 9 to 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the memorial home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the El Paso Fire Department or the El Paso Rescue Squad. Bill was born January 31, 1941, in Bloomington, IL the son of Willard and Arlene Letcher Andrews. He married Nancy Rudesill on September 11, 1963, in El Paso, IL. She survives along with two children Jeffery Andrews of Des Moines, IA and Jackie (Herschel) Peacher of El Paso; one son-in-law Mike Krug of El Paso; Eight grandchildren Dana Andrews, Gage Andrews, Brett (Elizabeth) Krug, Scott Krug, Matt Roth, Rachel Roth, Jordan Peacher, and Joshua Peacher; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Tammie Krug. Bill retired from Country Companies after 33 years of service as an underwriter. He then worked for OK Appliance in Bloomington for 12 years. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and washing his car.
