Waldon Norfleet Obituary (1940

Waldon G Norfleet, 84, of LeRoy passed way at home Monday September 22, 2025. Cremation rites have been accorded. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home LeRoy is in charge. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy, IL. Memorial donations may be made out to the family. Waldon was born September 23, 1940, in Nancy, KY a son of Virl and Elsie (Foster) Norfleet. He married Phyllis Cline February 14, 1960. He is survived by his daughters Pam (Lenny) Norfleet-Glaub and Peggy Hart; grandchildren Megan Meneley, Joshua (Mallory) Monahan, Ryan Hart, and Macie Whitehouse; great grandchildren Owen and Ethan Monahan; brother Lee Norfleet. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Doug Norfleet, son-in-law Jeff Hart, and sister Betty Abbott. Waldon was employed as a manager at the lumberyard in Chenoa, was a licensed realtor, was a member of the carpenters union, drove for JMJones, and was last employed at State farm. He was a devoted husband and father and a friend to many. He will be truly missed.
