Virginia F. "Jenny" Woodward Obituary (1929

Virginia Florence "Jenny" Woodward, 90, of Taylorville passed away at 11:15p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Taylorville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 25, 1929 in Elkhorn, West Virginia, the daughter of Edwin and Florence (Elliot) Clooney. She married Bernard Olin "Woody" Woodward on July 29, 1977 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death. Jenny previously worked as a waitress at One Mile Inn and Ray's Place. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her rose bushes, and reading. She is survived by her daughter: Victoria Richards (Dick) of Franklin, North Carolina; stepdaughters: Marcia Mack (Rick) of Poulsbo, Washington, Marilee Doan (Rick) of Taylorville, and Lynn Callan of Stonington; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Rick Winfrey; 1 brother and 1 sister. Mrs. Woodward will be cremated, and a private family inurnment will take place in the Morrisonville Cemetery. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
