Verla Marie Anderson

Verla Marie Anderson age 85 of Normal, IL and formerly of Lexington, IL passed away 5:45 PM Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, IL. Burial will be private at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to Church of Christ Uniting, Lexington, IL. Arrangements are being handled by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL.

Verla was born September 13, 1937 in Dahlgren, IL the daughter of Thomas Gabriel and Hazel Getty Hart. She married Vern Anderson. He precedes her in death.

Surviving are 3 children, Connie (Donna) McCumsey, Normal, IL Dale (Janice) McCumsey, Farmer City, IL, Lloyd (Sherry) Anderson, Bloomington, IL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Verla is preceded in death by parents, 1 son, Lonnie Anderson and 10 brothers and sisters.

Verla had worked at Eureka Williams in Bloomington, IL. She enjoyed gardening and quilting and spending time with her family.
