Travis L. Carrier Obituary (1987

On Monday, January 17th, 2022, Travis L. Carrier passed away in his sleep. Travis was born November 16th, 1987 to Vickie Schimanski and Charles Carrier Sr. in Tulsa, OK. Travis had a gift of being able to bring a smile to your face, no matter the occasion. He knew how to have a great time with his good friends, and was always telling a great story. His huge heart cared for so many, even animals (especially cats). Nature seemed to speak to his soul, and he often retreated there when life's pressures became heavy. Drawing also helped Travis express some emotions, and he loved proudly displaying and sharing his artwork with his friends. Some of his most treasured art pieces will forever be proudly displayed by his closest friends in way of tattoos. Music always called to Travis and he would never be caught without a pair of headphones for a quick escape. He could often be found walking around enjoying life, blissfully engrossed in the grungiest of punk anthems. Travis' biggest accomplishment were his three beautiful daughters who were his pride and joy: Loralei (11), a spitting image of him, Temperance (8), shining his awesome and caring personality and Sawyer (4), who proudly carries on his spunky, rebellious side. Beyond being an awesome father, Travis was an amazing and fun-loving uncle to four nieces and five nephews, and caring brother to two brothers and two sisters. In the last year. Travis became a beloved fixture in the downtown community, and his loss will always be felt. Rest in Power, Punk.
