He is survived by his wife, Terri Lynn Melvin; his parents; his first wife, Jessica Korrecta and their sons, Tylar Melvin and Lance Melvin, Pontiac, IL; his step-children, Storm M. Hartigan, Dakota N. Mullings and Ckylare R. Mullings, Pontiac, IL; his brothers, Bruce Melvin, Pontiac, IL and Nicholas (Kali Holt) Melvin, Pontiac, IL; his step-brothers, Ryan Bohm, Cornell, IL and Robin (Audra) Bohm, Pontiac, IL; his maternal grandparents, Dave and Jessie Thompson, Rosette, WY and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

Honorary Pallbearers are John Rich, Matt Carroll, Josh Mullen, Doug Baker, Ryan Bohm, Carrie Defenbaugh and Phillip "PJ" Johnson.
