Tijuanna Jean Kisela Obituary (1939

Tijuanna Jean Kisela, 74, of Cornell, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 9:57 a.m. at Asta Care Center in Pontiac, IL. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Deacon Jim Wallace will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Friends may call Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Tijuanna was born on June 29, 1939 in Putnam, TX, daughter of Ford and Mary (Black) Cook. Her mother survives in Cornell, IL. She married John Francis Kisela on July 8, 1961 in St. Michael, PA. He survives in Cornell, IL. Also surviving are three daughters, Lori (Jim) Dittmer of Pontiac, IL, Kim Matteson of Pontiac, IL, and Traci (Paul) Glover of Osyka MS; two brothers, Dennis (Andrea) Townsend and Robert (Mary Anne) Townsend; eight grandchildren, Courtinie (Chris) Davis, Jonathon Edgell, Christine Edgell, Tristan Kisela, Ashley Glover, Taya Glover, McKayla Kisela, and Allen Glover; and six great grandchildren, Hayden, Zoey, Ashtine, Ryder, Christopher, and Paislee. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William Townsend. Tijuanna was a graduate of Beaverdale-Wilmore High School in Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, spending time with her flowers and working around her home. She loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles during the cold months. She was a fan of the Cleveland Browns football team. Tijuanna was of the Catholic faith.
