Thomas R. McKenna Obituary (1952

Thomas R. McKenna, 69, of Pana passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was born May 11, 1952 in Pana to the late Francis & Carmen V. (Defenbaugh) McKenna. Tom was a graduate of Pana High School, Class of 1970. He had worked in the tree business & did concrete work. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, bicycling, playing guitar, but most of all, spending time with his kids & grandchildren. Tom is survived by his children: George Tucker, Rafe McKenna & Katie McKenna; grandchildren: Owen, Joey, Jax, Shelden, Maddison, Loni & Braylen and siblings: Kevin McKenna, Tim McKenna, Mark McKenna, Shelley Culberson & Kay Wyckoff. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly McKenna; grandchildren: Kaylynn Renee Coulter & Kenence T.W. Conway and brothers: Pat McKenna & John McKenna. A visitation for Tom will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Cremation rites will then be accorded. Memorials in Tom's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
