Thomas Lee “Tom” Trunnell Obituary (1967

Thomas Lee “Tom” Trunnell, 58, passed away on March 26, 2026, at home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in El Paso. Private burial will be in Secor Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in El Paso is in charge of arrangements. Tom was born in Bloomington on May 2, 1967, a son to Marvin and Irma Dell (Seggerman) Trunnell. He married Lisa L. Winks on September 24, 1988. Surviving are his daughters, Shawna (Christopher Lehr) Trunnell, El Paso, Shelby (Zachary) Staver, Jacksonville, AR; his siblings, Sally Trunnell, Bloomington, Duane (Kristin) Trunnell, Haw River, NC; and nieces, Autumn (Evan) Dickherber, Kansas City, MO, and Noele Bess. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Nancy Trunnell. Tom was a loving and devoted father to his girls and supported them in everything they did throughout their lives. Tom worked as an electrician for William Masters for 34 years. He was also a certified mechanic. He was passionate about working on and rebuilding cars; especially his beloved White 1978 Chevy Camaro. He will be greatly missed.
