Thomas J. Cross, Sr.

Thomas J. Cross, Sr., 89, of Pana passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 in his home. He was born December 6, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY son of the late Edward & Marie (Gleason) Cross. Tom married Anna Fiore on December 8, 1951 in New York and she survives in Pana.
Tom served as a United States Marine Corps during the Korean Era. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana, Pana American Legion Post #4431, Pana Pride, and a past member of the Pana Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed woodworking, making old things new, refurbishing things, and just staying busy.
Along with his wife, Tom is survived by his children: Michael (Sue) Cross, Thomas (Lana) Cross Jr., & Kathy (Ron) England all of Pana; grandchildren: Michael (Linda) Cross, Matthew (Amanda) England, Becki England, Stephanie (Drew) Miller, Destiny (Bryon) Garrison, Adam (Toni) Cross; great grandchildren: Victoria, Ashley, & Haleigh Cross, Logan England, Carson, Jackson, & Hudson Miller, William David, Henry, James, Ava, Michael, Garrison, & Hannah Cross; siblings: Winifred Eulner, FL, Linda Kravitz, Edward Cross, & Cathy Baerga all of New York. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Richards.
Funeral Mass for Tom will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodney A. Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Pana Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 until service time in the church.
Memorials in Tom's honor may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
