Theresa D. (Leake) Weber Obituary (1964

Theresa D. (Leake) Weber, age 61, of Pontiac, IL, passed away at 2:28 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her residence in Pontiac. Cremation rites have been accorded. Per her wishes, there will be no public services. Memorials in Theresa’s memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association. Calvert and Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac, IL, is entrusted with her arrangements. Theresa was born on February 18, 1964, in Pontiac, IL, to her loving parents, Robert and Patricia (Runyon) Leake. They preceded her in death. She married the love of her life, Douglas E. Weber, on April 19, 1986, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pontiac, IL. He survives in Pontiac. Other survivors include her beloved children: Randall Weber of Pontiac, IL, and Bret (Rachel) Weber of Pontiac, IL; two grandchildren: Zoey and Noble Weber; one sister: Michelle (Mark) Harder of Pontiac, IL; special friend: Sue Larson; and two adored fur-babies: Calli and Rose. Theresa graduated from Pontiac Township High School in 1983. She was the branch manager for World Finance Corporation from 2006 to 2025 in Pontiac, IL. Theresa had a natural green thumb and loved to garden and watch her flowers blossom and bloom. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, collecting butterfly figurines, lighthouse statues, and shells from the beach. She was always so happy when she could walk for hours on the beach finding the most beautiful shells. She also really enjoyed her time visiting the mountains and relaxing in a cozy cabin. She also became an avid Chicago Bears fan by default because of her marriage to Doug. Theresa had a big heart filled with endless love for her family, friends, clients, and animals. She was lucky to have found her soulmate early on in life, and together they shared many beautiful adventures and memories. She loved playing the role of Grandma to her two beloved grandkids. She truly was the best wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend. She made the house a home and was the glue of the family. So many precious memories were made in her 61 years here on earth, and now they will be forever cherished and remembered through her loved ones.
