Terry K. McReynolds

Terry K. McReynolds, 68, of Bloomington and Green Valley, AZ, passed away at 12:40 am, Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington after a brief illness.A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Bloomington with Rev. Ric Schneider officiating. A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will follow in the church hall. A private family inurnment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church, Central Catholic High School or the Mayo Clinic Oncology Department in Rochester, MN.Terry was born on February 12, 1945 in Charleston, SC, the son of Paul E. and Mavis J. Castle McReynolds. He married Patricia J. Johnson on May 7, 1966. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2001. He married Elizabeth Scott on December 27, 2003. She survives.He is also survived by a daughter, Karin (Jerry) Buhle, Hartford, WI; two sons, Kevin (Janann) McReynolds, Noblesville, IN and Mark (Kristy) McReynolds, Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Maddie, Molly and Miles McReynolds and Rose, Noah and David Buhle and two sisters, Cindy (Gene) Zoll, Phoenix, AZ and Patty (Cory) Bloom, Ridgeway, CO. Also surviving are his step children, Jennifer Scott Larson (David), Glenview and Stephen (Sherry) Scott, Seattle, WA; four step-grandchildren, Ethan, Garrett and Caleb Larson and Robin Scott and his step-mother, Nancy McReynolds, Bloomington.He was preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn granddaughter, Grace Buhle.Terry was a lifelong resident of Bloomington. He retired from State Farm Insurance Cos in 2010 after 42 years with the company.
