Susan Lynn Love

Susan Lynn Love, 62, of Decatur, IL passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Sue was born on March 21, 1963 in Monticello, IL, the daughter of Charles and Phyllis (Bishop) Knop. She married James Bradley Love on June 27, 1987. Sue was a school teacher, school bus driver, worked at Macon Resources Inc. and lastly worked as a secretary for Macon County Sheriff’s Office. She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church where she taught Jr. church. Teaching children was Sue’s passion.
Sue is survived by her husband: Brad Love; mother: Phyllis Knop; sons: Joe (Leslie) Love and Drew (Faith) Love; brother: Jeff (Hayley) Knop; grandchildren: Charlotte, Hunter, Brady, Kaiser, Reagan and Judah; niece: Chloe; nephew: Giles; father-in-law: Roland Love; brother-in-law: Jerry Love.
A service to honor Sue’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Temple Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Calvert & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with services. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed to Temple Baptist Church.
