Steven Lynn Lomelino

Steven Lynn Lomelino, 60, of Girard, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at his residence.

Steven was born May 13, 1965 in Springfield, IL, the son of Herbert and Kay Neely Lomelino. He married Brenda Wickard on February 28, 1986.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Lomelino of Girard, IL; his sons, Jordan (Rachel) Lomelino of Canton, IL, and Shaun Lomelino of Girard, IL; his parents, Herbert and Kay Lomelino; his sister, Kimberley “Kim” (Brent) Jacobs of Springfield, IL; his niece, Meghan (Tyler) Middleton of Auburn Hills, MI; and his nephew, Matthew Jacobs of Springfield, IL.

Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish anytime he could get a chance. He also enjoyed watching football, especially the Las Vegas Raiders. He was a member of Grace Church in Springfield for several years. He will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Steven’s life will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 at Grace Church in Springfield, IL. Per Steven’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help pay for funeral expenses.
