Steve Perryman

Steve D. Perryman 76, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 1:55 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, in his
residence.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at Calvertmemorial.com.

Steve was born July 11, 1949, in Christopher, IL the son of John and Ruth D. (McElyea)
Perryman. He married Sandra “Sue” (Berry) Gulledge on September 25, 1982. Steve had
formerly worked at Borden Chemical in Illiopolis and retired from Caterpillar in Decatur. He enjoyed watching movies.

Surviving is his wife Sue of Mt. Zion; daughters: Thecea Perryman and Ruth Ann Perryman; stepchildren: Sherie Holeman (Donnie) of Mt. Zion, Lorie Novak of Centralia, IL Bob Gulledge of Mt. Zion, and Bill Gulledge; brother: Jim Adams of Decatur; one grandson also survives.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
