Stanley K. Lorrance, Jr., 62, Pontiac, Illinois passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Indianola, IA. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Duffy Baier Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. A Graveside service will follow the visitation at Southside Cemetery in Pontiac, Illinois on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 1:30 pm. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Stanley was born on April 30, 1961, in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of Stanley and Vonna (Barnes) Lorrance Sr. He married Sandra Brill on August 3, 1990, in Pontiac, Illinois. She survives in Pontiac. He is also survived by his three children, Jeremy Lorrance of Pontiac, Elizabeth (Jordan) Davis of Waterman, and Amanda (Scott) Shepard of El Paso; his seven grandchildren, Maci, Dalton, Addison, Deziee, Dakotah, Quentin, and Sawyer; and his father and mother-in-law, Chuck and Myra Brill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Stanley graduated from Pontiac High School in 1979. He was Lead Maintenance at RR Donnelley's for over 30 years until retirement. He then went to work part time at Ace Hardware in Pontiac. Family was most important to Stanley. He loved his grandchildren and would spend lots of time with them. He enjoyed camping with the family and going to games. He loved to listen to Jeremy play the trumpet and enjoyed watching Elizabeth and Amanda play softball. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Humane Society.
