Shirley Gotts

Shirley R. Gotts 94, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in her residence.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes the family will not have any services and cremation rites will be accorded. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, is assisting the family with arrangements. Shirley was born November 28, 1931 in Overland, MO the daughter of Levi and Frances (McFearson) Smith. She married Robert A. Gotts Sr. on July 15, 1950 and they celebrated seventy-five years of marriage until his passing on September 22, 2025. Shirley had owned and operated Shirley’s Flower Shoppe in Mt. Zion, beginning in 1976, until her retirement.

Surviving are her children: Robert A. Gotts Jr. (Sharon) of Decatur, Timothy Gotts (Deb) of Decatur, Joy Ann Woods (Kevin) of Mt. Zion, Daniel Gotts (Elini) of Florida, and Tina Gotts of Ohio; sister: Judy Aldrich(Jerry) of Michigan; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers.
