Sheila M. McFarland Obituary (1941

Sheila M. McFarland, age 80, of Dwight, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at her home in Dwight. Funeral services will be held 12pm, Friday May 6, 2022 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the services also at the memorial home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials in honor of Sheila may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements. Sheila was born November 3, 1941, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of John and Margaret Mary (Fogarty) McFarland. Surviving is daughters, Dawn (James) Ashburn of Reddick, IL, Diane (Roy) Sowell of Lockport, IL; Jason (Chrissy) Ashburn, Matthew Coleman, Brittany Ashburn, Stephanie (Drew) Zimmerman, Danielle Sowell, Kaylee Sowell; 2 great grandchildren, Adrienne Zimmerman, Andrew Zimmerman; sisters, Lena (Andrew) Baily of Arlington Heights, IL, Evelyn (William) Baily of Chicago Ridge, IL, Sandra (Tom) Domagala; brother, Robert (Joyce) McFarland; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Phyllis McFarland, Margaret Alexander, Geraldine Wilkinson; brother, John McFarland. Sheila has been a resident of Dwight for the past 7 years and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
