Sharon L. Freitag

Sharon L. Freitag, 61, of Taylorville, IL died at 5:14 am, Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 26, 1947 in Taylorville the daughter of Chester A. and Adella Florence Armstrong Gibson. On October 3, 1970 she married James M. Freitag in Taylorville. Mrs. Freitag was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband: James M. Freitag; Mother: Florence Gibson; Daughters: Nancy Jacoby and husband Mark and Bonnie Kastl and husband Greg all of Taylorville. Granddaughter: Kaytlin Jacoby of Taylorville. Brothers: James Gibson and wife Sandy and Howard Gibson and wife Mary all of Taylorville, and Joe Gibson and wife Connie of Pittsfield; Sisters: Lorene McGinnis and husband Kyle of Springfield, Corene Kent and husband Lucian of Morrisonville, Diane Murphy of Taylorville and Susan Peveler of Columbia, MO. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister Mary Kaydus.

There will be no visitation. Private family burial will be at a later date.
