Shannon Michelle Oliver Obituary (1978 - 2022)

Shannon Michelle Oliver, 44 of Normal, passed away at 6:44 pm Saturday December 3, 2022 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL. Shannon was born August 29, 1978 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Mike & Kathy (Chasco) Ellis. She married Jamie Von Oliver on August 12, 2016 at the Courthouse in downtown Bloomington as Batman and Bat Girl! Surviving are her two children: Sarah Eagle and Benen Eagle; one step-son: Troy Von Oliver and one brother Seth Ellis. She was preceded in death by her grand-parents, and 1 brother: Sean Ellis. Shannon was smart, a lover of animals, sarcastic, she could talk to anyone, she was always smiling, encouraging others, putting others ahead of herself. Shannon loved to sing anytime any place. She was a strong women, a fighter for independent single women. Shannon loved the Dallas Cowboys, loved superhero movies and of course loved Batman aka Coach Oliver. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 17th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Six Strings Bar, Downtown Bloomington. Cremation rites were accorded.
