Sarah I. Marron

Sarah I. Marron, 80, of Taylorville, IL, died at 2:06 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2002 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

She was born October 20, 1921 in Rural Blue Mound, IL, the daughter of Joseph E. and Jennie I. Rigsby Nolen. On February 14, 1943 she married George M. Marron in Stonington and he preceded in death on October 19, 1972.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Aerie #1425, Taylorville,IL and was an avid Bingo player. Memorials may be made to Eagles Auxiliary Cancer Fund or St. John's Hospital Hospice Program.

Surviving are son, Joseph C. Marron - Taylorville, IL; 5 Grandchildren, Robin Manuel of Raymond, IL. Rodney Harris and wife Michele of Worden, IL, Leonard Harris and wife Monica of Troy, IL, Kathryn Harris-Reif and husband Thomas of Raymond and Forest Williams, Jr. of Springfield, IL. 1 Great Grandchild Brooke Harris. Brothers, Lyle E. Nolen and wife Ida of Owaneco and G. Leslie Nolen and wife Shirley of Kimberling City, MO. Sisters, Mabel Ervin and husband Lyle of Blue Mound, IL and Anna McVey of Taylorville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daughter, Sandra K. Harris and 1 brother J. Harold 'Smokey' Nolen.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 5, 2002 in Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL with Rev. Jay Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation.
