Sandra J. Tatro 75, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 6:20 a.m., Tuesday March 26, 2024 in Fairhaven’s Senior Living Center, Decatur, IL. In keeping with Sandy’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with arrangements. Sandy was born April 24, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, IL the daughter of Carroll and Mable (Dubois) Firebaugh. She was a homemaker. Sandy married David Tatro on June 1, 1964. Surviving is her husband David of Mt. Zion, IL; children: Terry Tatro (Cindy) of Lincoln, IL, David V. Tatro (Wendi) of Decatur, IL, Miranda Streibich of Mt. Zion, IL and Kim Marlow-Tatro (Pam) of Decatur, IL; brothers: John Firebaugh (Sandy) of Pawnee, IL and Mark Firebaugh (Bonnie) of Salem, IL; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, son: Richard, son-in-law: Todd, brothers: Mike and Joe; sister: Anita.
