Sandra Hubner

Sandra K. Hubner 82, of Decatur, IL passed away at 10:25 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in her residence.

A graveside service to honor Sandra’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2026, in the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at Calvertmemorial.com.

Sandra was born June 13, 1944, in Shelby County, IL the daughter of Wayne and Lucille (Rambo) Carson. She married Dale D. Hubner on October 30, 1960. He preceded in death on April 24, 2024. Sandra had formerly worked at the Mt. Zion Schools, Dairy Queen, and Norman’s Cleaners. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Assembly of God.

Surviving is her daughter: Kathy Underwood (Kevin) of Mt. Zion, IL; son: Gary Hubner (Charlotte) of Oakley, IL; grandchildren: Andy Underwood (Brooke), Alisha Walcher (Brandon), Erik Hubner (Carmin) and Carson Hubner (significant other: Lex); six great-grandchildren also survive.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister: Bev.
