Sandra A. "Sandy" Brooks

Sandra A. "Sandy" Brooks, 81, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 5:30 A.M. at her son's home in Ellsworth, Illinois.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, Illinois. A graveside memorial service will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery, Farmer City, Illinois, with Pastor Susie Deeters officiating.

Sandy was born on November 11, 1942, in Jewett, Illinois, a daughter of Mike and Dorothy Gentry Hannah. She married Bernard M. "Bernie" Brooks on June 17, 1980, in Jacksonville, Illinois. He passed away on September 13, 2023.

She is survived by her son, Louis (Peggy) Morgan of Ellsworth, Illinois; daughter, Stefani Pruett of Virden, Illinois; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Bryan (Tamara) Hannah of Waycross, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.
