Ruth Ann Denbow

Ruth Ann Denbow, 71, of Pana died Friday, October 24, 2014 in Gowin Parc, Taylorville.
She was born May 30, 1943 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Francis F. Eva A. Schaefer Begole. Ruth came to Pana in 1946 and was raised on the family farm. She attended Rosamond grade school and Sacred Heart School, graduating with the Class of 1961 at Pana High School where she was a member of the modern dance club. She later lived in Decatur and traveled several places prior to coming back to Pana in 1979. She loved her family, and all animals, especially horses and her horse Ginger. She enjoyed reading, and had a special interest in Native Americans. Ruth had worked at Rand McNally in Decatur and had worked as a bank teller. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, IL and the Catholic Youth Council in Decatur where she had held offices.
Ruth married Danny Denbow in 1963 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana. They later divorced and he survives.
She is survived by her children: James Denbow and Janet Denbow, both of Taylorville, IL and Beth Denbow, Waynesville, MO; 2 grandchildren: David Denbow girlfriend Briana Buttrey and Kimberly Denbow, both of Taylorville, IL; brother Phil Begole wife Peggy, Pana, IL; niece Maria McRaven and great nephews Sam Leo McRaven all of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Chris Begole.
Funeral Information

Funeral mass will be Monday, October 27, 2014 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Rodney A. Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 until service time at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana
