Royce R. Tjaden Obituary (1957 - 2024)

MINONK- Royce R. Tjaden, a gentle soul, 66, of Minonk, IL passed away at 7:12 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his home. Cremation Rites will be accorded and there will be no services. The family requests that you celebrate Royce’s life in your own way. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, IL is assisting the family with cremation. Royce was born March 11, 1957, in Streator, IL the son of Louis and Perle Thorp Tjaden. He is survived by a sister Sharon Welch of Normal; a niece Roxanne (Don) De Grammont, a nephew Greg (Ionela) Broquard, and a special friend Kathy Schultz. Royce graduated from Minonk High School, lived in Colorado and Oregon. He retired as a rural mail carrier in Flanagan after 15 years.
