Roy Fearman

Roy Fearman, 97, of Pontiac, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 12:25 p.m. at Evenglow Lodge Health Care in Pontiac.

There will be a private family service at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Burial will be at Southside Cemetery in Pontiac.

Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.

Roy was born on February 8, 1925, in Iuka, IL, to Herman and Pearl (White) Fearman. He married Mary Underhill on July 7, 1946, in Joliet. She survives in Pontiac.

Also surviving are his brothers, Gene "Hermie" (Joyce) Fearman of Odell and Russell (Sandra) Fearman of Pontiac; sister, Ruth McGinnis of Reddick; seven grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Lou Fox; brother, John "Eddy" Fearman; and sisters, Lila Baker and Viola Stufoso.

Roy retired from AT&T as a manager. He was Methodist by faith. He was involved in HAM radio for many years.

Family suggest memorial be made to the American Cancer Society.
