Rosalie Marie Burns

Mrs. Rosalie Marie Burns, 84, of Normal, IL, passed away at home in the arms of her husband on Aug. 7, 2017.Rosalie was born July 16, 1933, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Lyda (Fulgenzi) and George J. Bryant.She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold; their five children, Georgia (Rich) Knerr of Fort Wayne, In., David (Elinor) Burns of Houston, TX., Lori Marsicano of Las Vegas, NV., Charles (Kelly) Burns of Bloomington, Il., and Thomas (Terry) Burns of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and 5 grandchildren, Brielle Burns, Laura Burns, Eric Burns, Jordan (Amanda) Knerr, and Jennifer Knerr.Rosalie graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1951, worked at Sangamon Electric for a number of years, and was a dedicated homemaker. She had an unshakable faith in God throughout her full and blessed life. She was a loving, strong wife, a caring mother and grandmother, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.A private memorial service was held for close family.Memorial contributions may be made to Home Sweet Home Ministries 303 E.
