Roque A. Volpe Obituary (1953

TOLUCA- Roque A. Volpe, 72, of Toluca passed away on October 28, 2025. Cremation has been accorded, and a private family service will be held at a later date. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca is assisting the family with arrangements. Roque was born in Pontiac, IL on October 3, 1953, a son to Anthony and Marjorie (Manfroi) Volpe. He is survived by his children, Nick Volpe, Portland, OR, Pat (Trisha) Volpe, Pekin, Alexandria (Andrew) Carter, Pekin; grandchildren, Arik, Adyn, Adem, Anabel Carter; and Lucian Volpe; siblings, Kathleen (Glen) Gorske, Mundelein, Timothy Volpe (Brian) , Palm Springs, CA, Neil Volpe, Toluca, Shawn (Lisa) Volpe, Sparland, Christel (Joel) Smith, Wenona, Toni (Brian) Greetis, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters-in-law, Diane Volpe and Phyliss Volpe. Roque graduated from Toluca High School in 1971. He served as postal clerk in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1975. He then worked in clerical for the BNSF Railroad Company from 1977 until his retirement in 2003.
