Rondy Darrell Keener Obituary (1946 - 2023)

Rondy Darrell Keener, 76 of Pana passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. He was born August 28, 1946 in Quinwood, WV to the late James Wm. & Zelpha (Scott) Keener. He married Norma Toney on July 28, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN and she preceded him on March 2, 2019. Rondy enjoyed bingo, fishing, and watching wrestling and football with his grandson, Rondy Jr. Rondy is survived by his companion, Deanna Toney; grandsons: Rondy Keener, Jr. (girlfriend, Millie Tinch), Pana, IL and David Keener, Columbus, OH; one great-grandchild; and siblings: James "Leroy" Keener, Buster, Keener, Mickey Keener, and "Bootsy" Keener. He was also preceded by his son, Rondy Keener, Sr. on May 25, 2019. Funeral services for Rondy will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Archie Fox officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Memorials in Rondy's honor may be made to the choice of the donor and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
