Ronald Thrasher Jr.

Ronald W. Thrasher Jr. “RJ”, 48, passed away in Bloomington on April 16th, 2024. He was born in Bloomington on December 5th ,1975. He is survived by his mother Millie Thrasher (Bricker), His father Ronald Thrasher Sr. (Kimberly Musgrave - Thrasher), His brother Mike Thrasher, His sister Amy Thrasher (Nathan Gillespie), Three sons Anthony Ragland, Dillon Waters, and Elias Thrasher, One daughter Alyssa Thrasher – Alao (Kelsey Alao), One granddaughter Brooklyn Kelly, His fiancé Anna Henson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He attended school at Bloomington High School. He earned his associate degree in Liberal Studies, He was on the Presidents list 3 times and he earned a certificate in construction which led to him doing construction for much of his life. Ron truly had the biggest heart and cared deeply for many. Every person he came across loved him, and he always knew how to make people smile. When he walked into the room, you could just feel the positivity radiating off him. Ron was a man of God, which played a major part in his strength and determination to never give up throughout all the challenges he faced during his life. He enjoyed watching football, taking trips to the beach, and collecting the newest Jordan’s. Over everything though, he loved spending time with family, especially his children and his granddaughter Brooklyn “Poptart”, who truly was the light of his life. A private celebration of life was held on April 21st, 2024. Ron is very loved and will be deeply missed. Gone but never forgotten.
