Robert D. "Bob" Moore Obituary (1934

Robert D. "Bob" Moore, 85, of Normal passed away Wednesday September 11, 2019, at Advocate BroMenn in Normal. The Family will host a Celebration of Life for Bob at a later date. Bob is survived by his wife Kay of 62 years. Bob is also survived by three children: Robert Moore Jr of Indianapolis, IN, Barry (Monica) Moore of Mansfield, TX, Mindy Moore of Bloomington, IL; two grandchildren: Alex (Amy) Moore of Chicago, Jack (Courtney) Moore of San Diego; and one Great Grandson: Aaron Moore of Chicago. Bob was a loving, generous, and kind family man, who was a friend to everyone he met. From a young age when he began caddying, Bob enjoyed a passion for playing golf throughout his life, and he was a very good golfer. He enjoyed playing many rounds of golf with his friends at the El Paso Golf Club. Bob enjoyed a successful career in sales in the petroleum industry. Bob enjoyed watching sports, was a Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed tailgating and attending Illinois Football games. Bob had a passion for living and enjoying life. Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Community Cancer Center in Normal, IL, or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
