Robert E. Cox age 50 of Bloomington IL passed away at 8:20 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023
at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington IL. He was cremated there will be a celebration of life service at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Robert was born December 27, 1972 in Normal IL the son of Timothy and Sandra Cox Cox.

Surviving is his mother Sandra (Robert) Kelley, Bloomington IL, 2 sisters, Theresa Kelley, Normal, IL, Danielle Kelley, Bloomington, IL, 4 brothers, Robert Kelley Jr., Normal, IL, Jeremiah Kelley, Bloomington, IL, Nate Kelley, Bloomington, IL, Tom (Kathy) Cox , Normal, IL, several, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Also surviving is his longtime friend Jason Brimm, Puerto Rico, and many lifelong high school friends.

Robert is preceded in death by both his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Robert worked at Maguire's Pub & Grill, Bloomington, IL for many years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed "Nike and Air Jordan Shoes and Spiderman."
