Ricky P. “Rick” Hutson Obituary (1953

Lexington- Ricky P. “Rick” Hutson, 71, of Lexington, formerly of Towanda, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, February 14, 2025, in Lexington. His visitation will be from 5-7 P.M., on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Lexington Community Center, with words of remembrance offered at 6:30 P.M. Burial will be private in Lexington Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Rick was born in Bloomington on March 14, 1953, a son to Franklin and Rosanna Mae (Haworth) Hutson. Surviving is his honorary daughter; Nikki Weer (Brian Cullen); grandchildren, Brodee (Brittany) Weer, Jett (Riley Lane) Weer, Scoute Weer Losher, Jonah Cullen; great granddaughter, Bryleigh Coltrane; siblings, William Hutson, Lynn (Mary Lou) Hutson, Kevin Hutson, Cheryl (Dennis) Weber, Jan (Steve) Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Hutson; and sister, Marilyn Gillan. Rick was a farmer all his life. He enjoyed being in the community and hanging out with his buddies in Lexington, especially at the pool hall. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, and especially his grand dog Chase; who he spoiled tremendously.
