Henry: Richard J. “Dick” Kalnas, 89, of Henry, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2025, 6:20 pm at Henry Rehab & Nursing. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry is in charge of arrangements. Dick was born August 13, 1935, in Peru, IL to Paul and Anne (Kotecki) Kalnas. He married June L. Daily on December 18, 1954, in Peru, IL. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2015. Surviving is one daughter, Linda Maness, of Chillicothe. His parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, preceded him in death. Dick retired after 30 years with Caterpillar Tractor Company.
