Raymond Leroy 'Lee' Walker, 77, of Taylorville died at 10:15 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2002 in Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL. He was born June 8, 1924 in Taylorville the son of Willie and Suzy Walker. On February 19, 1960 he married Mary Alice 'Shirly' Mann at Inidana Beach, IN. He was the owner/operator of Walker's Professional Cleaning Service in Taylorville since 1952. Mr Walker was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a veteran of World War II with the Army Air Corps, and a former member of the Moose Lodge, V.F.W., American Legion, Knights of Columbus and Y.M.C.A. all of Taylorville. Surviving are his wife, Shirley of Taylorville, and one son Kevin Lee Walker both of Taylorville. There will be no services. McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
