Ralph Morell

Ralph Morell, 65, of rural Ramsey died Saturday, December 22, 2007 St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
He was born May 10, 1942 in Vandalia, IL, the son of John W. Sina Frances Murphy Morell. He lived most of his adult life in Ramsey except five years in Oklahoma and Texas. He was a retired cement mason for Local 103. Ralph was a member of Oak Valley Pentecostal Church. He loved music, played guitar and sang, told stories and enjoyed his family.
Ralph was united in marriage with Judy E. Sanders on June 6, 1964 in Clayton, MO.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Morell, Ramsey, IL; children: Richard Wayne Morell, Republic, MO; Brenda Jean Sprague husband Joe, Vandalia, IL; Tammy Renee Strader husband Shawn, Ramsey, IL; 11 grandchildren: Laci, Jordan, Ciara, Damon, Evan, Kenneith, Braden, Katy, Kimberly, Caden, Isaac; 3 brothers: Johnny Mack Morell, Ramsey, IL; Roy Morell, Ramsey, IL; Ray Morell, Ramsey, IL; and by one sister: Martha Hicks, Lakewood, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Robert Leroy Morell in 1969; brothers: Charles Morell, Willie Morell, Teddy Dean Morell, John Morell; sisters: Virginia Pierce, Ruth Brown and Meda Lee Morell.
Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Sanders and Rev. Orville Denton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
