Penn Timothy Neef Obituary (1951

Penn Timothy Neef, 67, of Normal, passed away August 30, 2018. He was called home after fighting an extended illness. Tim was born June 9, 1951 in Champaign, Illinois to Paul L. and Patricia A. Neef. Tim is survived by his parents, sister, Paula Neef of Normal. Also surviving are two nephews, Bryan Neef of Normal and Brent (Janel) Neef, also great-nieces and great-nephew, Kylie, Keira and Carter of Mesa, AZ Tim graduated from Mansfield Community High School and Parkland Community College. He was also a member of the Air Force Reserves. In work he was a purchasing agent and an accounting office manager. Tim was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, loved golf, (playing and watching) and the outdoors. He also enjoyed fishing and friends. There will be a private family service later with the date still to be decided. Tim loved his family, was deeply loved and will always be sorely missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or a charity of choice. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling arrangements.
