Paul H. Sanders

Paul H. Sanders, 79, of Taylorville died at 1:50am Thursday July 19, 2007 in the Taylorville Care Center. He was born on June 26, 1928 in Morrisonville, the son of Arthur M. and Mary Fesser Sanders. On October 11, 1947 he married Natalie A. Porter in Springfield. Mr. Sanders was a farmer for over 50 years in the Edinburg and Taylorville area. He was affiliated with the Kincaid United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of Taylorville, son Dennis Sanders, wife Debbie of Taylorville; daughter Paula Lenger of Kentwood MI; Sister Geraldine Myerscough of Monticello; 6 Grandchildren: Stephen Lenger, wife Tara, Laura Scott, husband Ryan, D.J. Sanders, wife Penny, Chad Sanders, Joshua Sanders, wife Kelly, and Jill Sanders. 12 Great Grandchildren: Emaline Lenger, Justin Scott, Khaylie Scott, Lauren Scott, Austyn Stiner, Shaylie Sanders, Aryonna Sanders, Noah Sanders, Cahylie Sanders, Mina Sanders, Hunter Sanders, and Savanna Ruppert. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Everett Sanders and Chester Sanders, Son Darrel Sanders, and Great Granddaughter AnJill Natalie Ruppert.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday July 24 at the McClure Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Vonck officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7PM on Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
