Paul R. “Fish” Ingold

FLANAGAN- Paul R. “Fish” Ingold, 91, of Flanagan passed away on May 2, 2026, at Evenglow Lodge -Tjarks Health Care Center in Pontiac.
Born October 24, 1934, in Pontiac, IL, Paul was the son of John and Vira (Meils) Ingold.
Paul married Lola A. Loudon in Long Point on February 18, 1956. Together they raised their two children in Flanagan, IL. Paul cherished his family dearly and was well-loved and respected by them in return. He is survived by his children Jeri (John) Glowicki of Oak Park, IL, and Craig (Barbara) Ingold of Augusta, GA as well as three grandchildren, Katie Glowicki, Samantha Ingold, and Kim Ingold. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola; his brother, John “Jack” Ingold; and his grandson, Daniel Glowicki.
Paul was committed to service for his family, community, and country. He was an Army Veteran, drove the local school bus, and served as the Public Works Official for the Village of Flanagan until his retirement. For numerous years, Paul volunteered for the Flanagan/Graymont Ambulance squad, the local fire department, and Meals on Wheels.
Honoring Paul’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Center Cemetery, Flanagan, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Evenglow Senior Living for their excellent care during the past two years, and to Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Flanagan, IL, for their assistance with the arrangements.
