Paul L Jackson

Paul L. Jackson, 102, of Moweaqua passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Paul's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at South Macon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m.Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon. Memorials can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

Paul was born on April 27, 1915 in Fayette County, IL the son of Andy and Estella (Beckett) Jackson. He married Marguerite Thomas in 1938. Paul was a lifelong farmer. He worked as a dairy farmer until the cows were sold, worked as a hail adjuster for Country Companies for several years but the majority of his life he was a Grain Farmer. Paul was a family man and loved his family very much.

Surviving are his children: John Jackson of Moweaqua, IL; Gary Jackson and his wife, Jennie of Imperial, MO; David Jackson and his wife, Mary of Moweaqua, IL; Gloria Parker and her husband, William of Moweaqua, IL; Nancy Massey and her husband, Tom of Macon, IL; daughter-in-law: Judy Jackson of Moweaqua, IL; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Marguerite, son: Tom Jackson, daughter-in-law: Patricia Jackson, 8 siblings, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren.
