Patti Jo Corrigan Obituary (1952

Patti J. Corrigan, 72, of Fairbury, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at OSF St. James Hospital in Pontiac. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 W. Hamilton St., Odell, IL 64060. Mass will follow at 11:00 AM also at the church. Interment will follow at St Paul Catholic Cemetery in Odell. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Patti Jo was born in Streator, IL on March 25, 1952, the daughter of John Joseph and Virginia May (Small) Corrigan. She is survived by her daughter, Siann Fatima May Corrigan; brother, John Joseph Corrigan II (Denise) of Washington State; her sisters, Sue Anne Sass and Mary Beth Corrigan of Illinois; many nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Chris), Brentan, Rebecca (Rollin), Joey (Wei), Hanna, G.V. Rosie, Sean, Alexsia, and Lyndsey; and great niece/nephews, Aiden, Henlee, and Dakota. Patti Jo is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Michael C. Corrigan; brother-in-law, William J. Sass; and her niece, McKensi May Corrigan. She attended St. Paul Grade School in Odell and graduated from Dwight High School, Dwight Illinois. Patti Jo received her undergraduate degree from Judson College and her Masters degree from Illinois State University. She was employed at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Dwight Illinois for over 30 years. Patti Jo loved making memories with her family and was always along for the ride. She was devoted to all she loved, and cherished every minute with her daughter, Siann. Patti had a heart of gold and went above and beyond to help anyone who needed her. She enjoyed traveling, all things Elvis Presley, and was an animal lover. She will be missed beyond measure.
