Patrick James McCafferty

Patrick James McCafferty, 74, of Normal, passed away on May 17, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Patrick was born in Wichita, Kansas to Robert and Viola (Hickel) McCafferty on October 10, 1948. He married Kathryn Margaret Lagermann on July 22, 1972. They preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Megan Rose McCafferty.

Surviving are his two daughters, Melissa Ann (Brian) Teagarden of Normal, Erin Sellers of Crown Point Indiana; four grandchildren, Meghan, Caitlin, Amy, and Laura; one great-grandchild, Maeby and one brother, Michael (Betsy) McCafferty.
Patrick loved supporting girls' youth sports and youth music programs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and motorcycle riding. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His inurnment will be held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum in Glenwood, Illinois at a later date.
