Patrick Heenan

Patrick James Heenan, age 72, of Pontiac, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022, at St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials in Pat's memory may be made to the family, Operation Safe, or to the donor's choice.

Pat was born on January 29, 1950, in Pontiac, to John and Shirley (Long) Heenan-Stevens.

He is survived by his brothers: Michael and Thomas Heenan, both of Pontiac, and a sister: Kathryn Heenan of Ottawa.

Pat was an electrician, having learned the trade from his father. He owned his own business, Heenan Services. He was active in the Livingston County Humane Society and the Masons #294.

Pat enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also loved animals. Anyone who knew him would say that he had a big heart.

He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
