Patricia Ann (Christian) Presnell Obituary (1948 - 2022)

Patricia Ann (Christian) Presnell, 74, of Pana passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was born April 12, 1948 in Taylorville to the late Leland & MaeBelle (Phillips) Christian. She married Dennis Elmore in 1966, they later divorced. She married Harry L. Presnell in 1987 and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2009. Patricia was a housewife most of her life and she enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Dede (Elmore) Pollard, Pana, IL; son, Dennis Elmore, Cocoa Beach, FL; stepdaughter, Deb (Arlon) Anklam, Oconee; grandchildren: Chelsea (Jimmy) Mikalik, Assumption, IL; Christina (Matt) Julius, Pana, IL; Crystal Gibson, Pana, IL; Bryce Claxon, Montana; Brody & Bella Elmore, Florida; Stephanie (Waylon) Mollett, Owaneco; great grandchildren: Aurora & Dorian Mikalik; Jaidyn & Olivia Julius; Lexie Burrus; Avery & Cooper Pope; Meghan & Olivia Burrell and sister, Linda Durbin, Vero Beach, FL . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Barb Christer and son-in-law, Mike Pollard. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Memorials in Patricia's honor may be made to the American Lung Association and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
