Nicole L. Schumann

Nicole L. Schumann, 35, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Nicole was born November 13, 1982 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Rodney Shockey and Diane (Nave) McCormick. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, cooking, painting, and drawing.

Nicole is survived by her daughter Olivia Schumann, mother Diane (Ron) McCormick, father Rodney Shockey, sisters Robin (Jeff) Wheaton and Paulette (Dennis) Hughes, fiance Steven Carnahan, aunt Gayla Libben, uncle Greg (Sara) Nave, and her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018 in the Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, 8701 Georgia Avenue, Suite 412, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
