Neva J. Billie Readhead

Neva J. "Billie" Readhead, 78, of Taylorville, IL died at 10:00 pm Sunday, January 2, 2005 in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born December 19, 1926 in Whittington, IL the daughter of Wayne and Corinne Boulding Taylor. On December 24, 1945 she married Otto Ray Readhead in West Frankfort, IL and he preceded in death on March 10, 1999. Mrs. Readhead was a homemaker and a member of Morrisonville Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are 2 sons: Don Readhead and wife Carla of Taylorville; Jack Readhead of Collinsville, IL; Daughter, Nancy McCree and husband Larry of Oswego, IL. Grandchildren: Amy Readhead, Ivy Readhead and Noah Readhead all of Taylorville, IL, Dan McCree of Naperville, IL, A.J. McCree of Oswego, IL and Caroline Egdorf and husband Jerry of Joliet, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter Susan Readhead in infancy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 5, 2005 in McClure Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service in the funeral home on Wednesday.
