Neva Jane Dust Obituary (1933

Neva Jane Dust, 90, of El Paso, IL passed away at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 9 to 10:45 a.m. and funeral services at 11a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso with Pastor Mick Duffy officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Neva was born December 21, 1933, in El Paso, IL the daughter of Herbert and Garnet (Guard) Wilkey. She married John “Jack” Dust on September 27, 1953, in El Paso. He preceded her in death May 7, 1984 Neva was a dedicated mother to Cynthia Jane Neff of El Paso. Grandmother to Kristi Dust, John (Jennifer) Brown, and Elisha Reyes. Great Grandmother to Derek Stine, Brandon Stine, Mercedez Gregory, Jaime Gregory, Monte Gregory, Savannah Brown, Aven Brown, Lydia Brown, Nathan Reyes, Kyler Reyes, Zander Reyes and Anjelika Reyes. Great Great Grandmother to Maximus Gregory, Eleanor Furlong and Henry Furlong. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Gene Wilkey, and four sisters Arlene Cox, Doris Fever, Eunice Hayse, and Yvonne Moody and one great grandson Owen Stine. Neva was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, El Paso and worked at Woodford County Bank now Heartland Bank for 47 ½ years before she retired. Neva put God first in everything. She devoted her life to spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorials can be made on her behalf to the El Paso public library.
