Nellie H. Ringer

Nellie H. Ringler, 91 of Stonington,IL died at 7:40 am Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born January 25, 1910 in Stonington the daughter of Samuel H. and Lucretia Hargrave Hardin. She married Thomas A. Ringler on December 25, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, and he preceded in death July 16, 1993.

Mrs. Ringler is survived by her daughter Gerry Beatty and husband Charles of Burnsville, MN. 7 Grandchildren: Terrie Jorgensen, Michael Beatty, Steve Beatty, Mark Ringler, Karen Bowlin, Sheryl Murray, and Brian Ringler. 7 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 son, Sam Ringler.

Mrs. Ringler was a member of Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville, and was an avid card player.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday March 10, 2001 at Connolly-McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville, IL with burial in Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, March 9 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Stonington.
